Return & Exchange Policy

At Ethnic Treasures, your satisfaction is our priority. Whether you are shopping for our pure cotton sarees, kurtis, dupattas, tops, or shirts, we want to ensure a transparent and hassle-free shopping experience.

To maintain our high-quality standards and clear communication, we offer a structured returns & exchange policy applicable within India. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

1. Returns Policy

We offer a structured return policy for eligible products. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return within the eligible timeframe, subject to the strict conditions below.

Eligibility for Return:

  • The product must be unused, unwashed, unworn, and in its original condition.

  • All original tags, labels, and packaging must be intact.

  • The return request must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.

  • An unboxing video is mandatory for any claims regarding damaged or incorrect products.

Returns will NOT be accepted if:

  • The customer has used, washed, altered, or damaged the product.

  • The product is returned without its original packaging and tags.

Return Refund Structure:

  • Prepaid Orders: The full product value will be issued as store credit, valid for 1 year from the date of the original purchase.

  • COD Orders: The full product value (excluding the COD shipping fee) will be issued as store credit, valid for 1 year from the date of the original purchase.

Important Note on Refunds:

No monetary refunds will be processed to your bank account or credit card under any circumstances. All returns will be strictly compensated via store credit. COD shipping charges are non-refundable. All products will undergo a quality check (QC) before the approval of any return, exchange, or store credit.

2. RTO (Return to Origin) Policy

If an order is returned to us by the courier due to customer unavailability, an incorrect/incomplete address, or refusal to accept delivery, it will be treated as an RTO.

  • RTO – Prepaid Orders: A logistics/handling charge of ₹100 will be deducted. The remaining balance will be issued as store credit valid for 1 year. No cash or bank refund will be issued.

  • RTO – COD Orders: Ethnic Treasures reserves the right to restrict or disable cash on delivery services for your future orders in the event of repeated delivery refusals.

3. Exchange Policy

Eligibility for Exchange:

You may request an exchange if the product is damaged, defective, incorrect, or if you require a size exchange (subject to stock availability).

  • Exchange requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.

  • An unboxing video is mandatory.

Exchange Costs:

  • First Size Exchange – Free: Your first size exchange is completely free of charge, even if your order contains multiple products. No reverse pickup or logistics charges will apply.

  • Second & Subsequent Exchanges: From the second exchange onward, a flat fee of ₹99 per exchange will be charged.

4. Exchange to Store Credit (If Replacement Not Available)

If you request an exchange but the desired size or product is out of stock:

  • Prepaid Orders: The full product value will be issued as store credit.

  • COD Orders: The COD shipping fee will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be issued as store credit.

5. Reverse Pickup & Logistics

  • Reverse pickup will be arranged for serviceable pin codes.

  • If reverse pickup is unavailable in your area, you must self-ship the product to the address we share via email. We strongly recommend using a trackable courier service, as Ethnic Treasures is not responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit.

  • Self-shipping courier charges will not be reimbursed.

  • Quality Check (QC): All products will undergo QC upon arrival at our warehouse. Products failing QC will be returned to you without an exchange or store credit.

6. Store Credit Policy

To maintain complete transparency regarding our store credit system:

  • Validity: Store credit is valid for 1 year from the date of the original purchase. Expired credits will not be revalidated.

  • Non-Refundable: Store credit cannot be refunded, transferred to bank accounts, converted into cash, or reissued as a monetary refund. Once issued, it is final.

  • Usage: It can be used partially or in full across one or multiple orders until the balance is exhausted.

  • Final Sale: Products purchased using store credit cannot be returned or exchanged again.

  • Transferability: Your store credit is fully transferable! It can be used by you, family members, or friends, provided they use it within the 1-year validity period.

7. Exclusions: When Returns/Exchanges Are Not Accepted

Requests will be automatically declined if:

  • The product is used, washed, altered, or damaged by the customer.

  • The product was purchased during a sale, discount event, or as part of a bundle promotion (unless you received a damaged or incorrect item).

  • The item is customized, personalized, or a stitched blouse;

  • The request is raised after 48 hours of delivery.

  • An unboxing video is not provided for damage/wrong product claims.

  • The purchase is an international order.

8. Cancellation & Delivery Refusal

  • Cancellation: Order cancellation is not allowed once the order has been successfully placed and processed.

  • Doorstep Refusal (Prepaid): If you refuse a prepaid delivery at your doorstep, a ₹100 handling fee will be deducted, and the balance will be issued as store credit.

9. Important Guidelines

  • Do not accept tampered or damaged parcels from the courier at the time of delivery.

  • You must report missing items or quantity discrepancies with an unboxing video within 48 hours.

  • If an order is marked as "delivered" by the courier but you have not received it, you must report this to us within 48 hours so we can initiate a courier investigation.

10. International Orders

  • International shipping charges vary by country.

  • Returns and exchanges are not available for international orders. All international sales are final.

11. Legal Acknowledgment

By placing an order with Ethnic Treasures, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and the Returns & Exchange Policy. Ethnic Treasures reserves the right to amend this policy without prior notice.
