Return & Exchange Policy

1. Introduction

At Ethnic Treasures, your satisfaction is our priority. Whether you are shopping for our pure cotton sarees, kurtis, kaftans, dupattas, tops, women's shirts, or men's shirts, we want to ensure a transparent and hassle-free experience.

To maintain our high-quality standards and clear communication, we offer a structured returns and exchange policy applicable within India. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

2. Color & Print Accuracy

We take immense pride in our craftsmanship and go to great lengths to capture accurate colors and intricate prints for every garment.

  • Managed Accuracy: We have used professional setups to ensure the colors you see are as close to reality as possible.

  • Digital Variation: However, please note that because every digital screen (mobile, laptop, or tablet) has different display and brightness settings, the actual print shade may vary slightly.

  • Handcrafted Nature: Minor variations in weave or print are a hallmark of authentic, pure cotton ethnic wear and are not considered defects.

3. Returns Policy

We offer a structured return policy for eligible products. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return within the eligible timeframe, subject to the conditions below.

Eligibility for Return:

  • The product must be unused, unwashed, unworn, and in its original condition.

  • All original tags, labels, and packaging must be intact.

  • The return request must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.

  • An unboxing video is mandatory for any claims regarding damaged or incorrect products.

Returns will NOT be accepted if:

  • The customer has used, washed, altered, or damaged the product.

  • The product is returned without its original packaging and tags.

4. Flexible Shopping Balance (Store Credit)

To reduce the fear of "lost funds," we offer a Seamless Shopping Balance (store credit) that allows you to pick any other item from our vast collection at your convenience.

  • Prepaid Orders: The full product value will be issued as a shopping balance.

  • COD Orders: The full product value (excluding the COD shipping fee) will be issued as a shopping balance.

  • Validity: This balance is valid for 1 year from the date of issue.

  • Transferability: Your balance is fully transferable! It can be used by you, family members, or friends within the validity period.

Note: No monetary refunds will be processed to bank accounts or credit cards. All returns are strictly compensated via our shopping balance system.

5. RTO (Return to Origin) Policy

If an order is returned to us by the courier due to customer unavailability, incorrect address, or refusal:

  • Prepaid Orders: A handling charge of ₹100 will be deducted, and the remaining balance will be issued as shopping credit.

  • COD Orders: Repeated delivery refusals may result in restricted or disabled COD services for future orders.

6. Exchange Policy

You may request an exchange if the product is damaged, defective, incorrect or if you require a size exchange (subject to stock).

  • First Size Exchange – Free: Your first size exchange is completely free of charge! No reverse pickup or logistics charges apply.

  • Subsequent Exchanges: From the second exchange onward, a flat fee of ₹99 per exchange will be charged.

  • Out of Stock: If the desired size/product is unavailable, the full value (minus COD fees, if applicable) will be issued as shopping credit.

7. Reverse Pickup & Logistics

  • Pickup: Arranged for serviceable pin codes. If unavailable, you must self-ship the product.

  • Self-Shipping: We recommend trackable services. Ethnic Treasures is not responsible for lost self-shipped parcels. Courier charges for self-shipping are not reimbursed.

  • Quality Check (QC): All products undergo QC upon arrival. Products failing QC will be returned to the customer without an exchange or credit.

8. Policy Exclusions

Requests will be automatically declined if:

  • The product was purchased during a sale, discount event, or as part of a bundle (unless damaged/incorrect).

  • The item is customised, personalised, or a stitched blouse.

  • The request is raised after 48 hours or lacks an unboxing video.

  • The purchase is an international order.

9. Cancellation & Delivery Refusal

  • Cancellation: Not allowed once the order has been processed.

  • Doorstep Refusal (Prepaid): A ₹100 handling fee will be deducted, and the balance will be issued as shopping credit.

10. International Orders

Returns and exchanges are not available for international orders. All international sales are final.
